The Rhoda Sandler Memorial Library Award is a $500.00 award given annually in memory of the College’s first Audio-Visual librarian, Rhoda Sandler. The student paper must be written on a theme related to media studies, moving image history, or narrative cinema. The award is given to one student at the annual student award ceremony. The winning student’s name will be added to a plaque with the previous winners that is displayed adjacent to the café on the main level of the Brendlinger Library.

|Educational Plan||"I am graduating in the Spring with my Associates degree in Film & Media Studies. I plan to transfer soon to either Muhlenberg College or Lafayette College where I will finish my Bachelor's degree in the same field of study. I have been on the Dean's List for every semester despite my chronic illnesses, and even undergoing a spine surgery. I am also a member of PTK and Secretary for SGA. I enjoy the study of film but hope to work in the industry some day directing or in some other hands-on creative role."|
