Once you have completed your guide, we can create a table of contents. Here are the steps.
- First make sure each guide page has a readable Page URL (Click pencil editing icon in box above side navigation).
- Go to live version of your page in a new tab/window
- Click the "eye" icon to get a preview of your guide.
- Click the guide name in the breadcrumbs menu (above the guide title).
- From your live guide, highlight and copy the entire left column menu.
- Go back to the edit screen and create a box for your table of contents
- Create a Rich Text/HTML content item.
- In the editing toolbar, click on the "Paste from Word" icon (W on clipboard)
- Paste the menus into this window.
- Once you click OK, the list of links will appear ready for editing.
- Delete second level list items as needed.
- Provide descriptions of the pages and save.
