ENG 101: Using Keywords to Explore a Topic

A Discovery search on the library homepage is an excellent place to test your first keywords. 

If your initial search in the Discovery box is one or two words, or a well known phrase, the top result will often be a "Research Starter" article. This is an article from an encyclopedia, an authoritative type of resource that provides broad, background information and a general introduction to the topic.
