What's in this Guide

This tutorial will define what a keyword is and demonstrate how to find relevant keywords in easily accessible and digestible sources of background information. It will also show you how to use refined keywords to seek out the more in depth sources that you will use to support your argument.

In other words, you will be able to:

  • Use general sources to find background on your topic

  • Identify keywords to explore your topic

  • Refine keywords and begin searching for in depth sources

  • Cite those sources within your own projects.
