The French National Centre of Cinema (CNC) is a public administrative institution created by the law of October 25th, 1946 and reformed by the ordinance n°2009-901 of July 24th, 2009, relating to the legislative part of the cinema and animated image code. It is placed under the authority of the Ministry of Culture and headed by a president.

Over 100,000 TV and radio shows available online, browsable by decade, topic, etc. It’s free to view or listen to the clips, and they can be purchased for download.

Starting in 1961, the monthly periodical L'Avant Scene Cinema published scripts for both contemporary films and important films from the past. In the past decade they've branched out to publish interviews and reviews as well.

Located in Paris, Unifrance employs around 50 staff members, as well as representatives based in the U.S. China and Japan. The organisation currently brings together more than 1,000 French cinema and TV content professionals (producers, talents, agents, sales companies, etc.) working together to promote French films and TV programmes among foreign audiences, industry executives and media.
